Yes. 50% before I buy steel, balance before pickup or install. That holds for commissions and studio pieces. Changes after you approve the quote are billed as new shop time.
It depends on the project and current queue. Many custom furniture pieces land in the 4–10 week range. Studio pieces such as address blocks are usually faster — often 2–3 weeks. You’ll get a realistic timeline with the quote.
Small adjustments are usually fine early on. Bigger changes after materials are cut or welding has started may affect price and timeline. I’ll tell you clearly before moving forward.
Local delivery and hang in Central Texas can be arranged and is quoted on top of the piece. Longer-distance shipping is possible for many pieces — I’ll include that in the quote when it matters.
Custom = designed and built specifically for you (tables, art, one-offs). Full conversation and quote. Studio pieces = set designs (like steel address blocks) built to your details — size, numbers, finish. Simpler order process, still made in the same shop.
Select repair and custom fabrication jobs are available by inquiry. The studio’s main focus is furniture and welded art, but if you have something else in mind, ask — I’ll tell you honestly whether it’s a fit.
